She works hard for her mooo-ney Wazzap folksies??? :) I should be so sad now that my off day has come to an end. But I simply refuse to get some sleep, because I feel like staying up is my way of "extending" the day. Which in truth is completely delusional on my part. But anyway, staying up has brought me here, and here I am updating my blog. Ever since I started work, I have realised several things. 1. Money is difficult to come by. - I mean, I have always known that everyone works hard for money. But I work 6 days a week. Talk about invasion of personal time! I'm a minimal wage worker, because I just graduated from JC. I will never underestimate the importance of qualifications anymore... Yes, i know that in an ideal world everyone would have equal opportunities to climb the career ladder, however in the real world, perceptions, biased opinions and prejudiced views are nearly impossible to change. (I have yet to change any...) Trust me, I am an idealist too, however, we all live in the real world, and I guess we all just have to keep floating on. On a side note, I will however attempt to make my lil world as ideal as possible, if the world is as tainted as it is, the least I can do is to make mine as ideal as possible (I'm talking about the things within our control such as friends and family) :) 2. I am insanely high-maintenance. - Again, this is not something I don't know. But I shocked myself, with my own expenses and with the cost of living and standard of living I wish to sustain. This brings me back to the point where I have to work extra hard to make myself happy! Looking at my situation now, its really not a bad thing to be served a slice of reality pie. At least now I know what to expect. I'm gonna pull up my socks in university! Anyway, such dreary subjects I have rambled above. Time for something cheery. My room, is gonna look quite different by the end of this month! :D I'm getting a new set of drawers! :D This means that I will have added storage space, and my room is gonna look a lot better! YAY! Place to store my stocks, my unused notes and books (you never know when you'll need em as long as you're still studying), and perhaps I'll store some of my "barang barang" in there (funky, and sentimental but completely impractical gifts and souvenirs I have accumulated over the years. And maybe I'll finally have a place to store my bags and I can finally use the bottom rack of my closet! *excited!!!* :D Alrights, I think I'm ready to make a trip to lalaland now.
